We look forward to seeing you at the third celebration of University of Oregon student work and continuing collaborations between the UO and Latino community partners.

This year’s event includes:

  • Mariachi del Sol from Springfield High School
  • Latino Roots student short documentaries and student presentations
  • Jaime Arrendondo, PCUN Secretary-Treasurer
  • CAPACES Leadership Institute and PCUN archives
  • Scott Coltrane, UO Interim President
  • Adriene Lim, Dean of Libraries and Philip H. Knight Chair
  • Food and music

Students from the two-term Latino Roots class will share clips from their documentaries and talk about the research that went into producing the stories. Their documentary clips will be shown throughout the event and a full screening will be held in Special Collections Classroom (2nd Floor Knight Library) beginning at 5:00 p.m.
