The Chilean Miners: My Adventures in Listening, Writing, and Underground Observation

Hector Tobar,  Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and SOJC visiting assistant professor, will discuss how he reported, researched and wrote his “nonfiction novel” on the miners, making use of more than 100 hours of interviews, along with videos and diaries produced by the men while they were still trapped.
