Centro Latino Americano will host an educational workshop about the current immigration reforms: Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents of American Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA), as well as talking about different types of visas, labor rights and much more. During the event there will have lawyers present to help answer questions throughout and after the workshop. This workshop will be free and open to all community members. and will be a SAFE place for anyone to ask questions. The next event will be on February 16 at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church located at 1025 N. 19th St. Cottage Grove, OR 97424 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
Additionally, Centro is offering one-on-one appointments for individuals who believe they may qualify for any of the above mentioned processes, and I ask that you please help us spread the word if you know anyone who might be interested.
