New associate vice provost Yvonne Braun will serve as link to CLLAS
August 20, 2018—Yvonne Braun, head of the UO’s Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies, has been selected for a half-time position as associate vice provost for academic affairs.
Braun, also an associate professor in the Department of International Studies, will continue her research and teaching half time, according to an announcement from the Office of the Provost.
In her new role, Braun will focus on academic program review and faculty success initiatives. She also will serve as the link to the provost for several units, including the Center for Latino/a and Latin American Studies and the Labor Education and Research Center.
“I am thrilled to be joining this team dedicated to the promotion of academic success on campus,” Braun said. “I look forward to working together with partners across campus to refine processes to better serve the shared goals of faculty, units and the institution.” › Continue reading
