October 11, 2010
3:00 pmto5:00 pm

301 Knight Law School
UO Campus

Maxine Burkett, Wayne Morse Chair of Law and Politics, is a visiting scholar from the University of Hawaii. At this informal colloquium, Burkett will present her new paper on climate-induced migration and refugee law.  Michelle McKinley, assistant professor, UO School of Law, will take the lead as a formal discussant.  This is a great opportunity to learn about climate-induced migration and its legal implications, and to get to know an impressive visiting scholar in an intimate setting. Refreshments will be served.
