Kristin Yarris receives one of UO’s highest teaching honors

May 23, 2017—CLLAS executive board member Kristin Yarris, assistant professor, Department of International Studies, College of Arts and Sciences received the University of Oregon’s Ersted Award for Specialized Pedagogy, in recognition of achievement and expertise in the area of global health.
Prof. Yarris’s “research agenda is centered around the social determinants of health and wellbeing and the cultural shaping of illness and distress in different global locations.”
