CLLAS staff member Cecilia Valdovinos wins Outstanding Student Award
June 10, 2017—In a ceremony yesterday on the University of Oregon campus, the UO School Psychology Program honored master’s student Cecilia C. Valdovinos with an Outstanding Student Award for outstanding work, positive attitude, and overall contributions to the UO School Psychology Program.
Valdovinos has been a student employee at the Center for Latino/ Latina and Latin American Studies the past two years, working as a graduate employee during the 2016-17 AY in the role of CLLAS project and outreach coordinator. Among other projects, she coordinated the recent Latino Roots Celebration.
Valdovinos is working toward a master’s degree in School Psychology, Department of Special Education and Clinical Sciences.
