Join us on May 30th at Sprout! Food Hub, Springfield for the Second Annual Festival Latino. This year’s Festival Latino will have greatly expanded programming and festival area. In collaboration with the City of Springfield and
Willamalane Parks and Recreation District, we are closing off the street adjacent to Sprout! (418 A Street, Springfield) to hold concerts on a large outdoor stage and expect 2000-3000 attendees. There will be over 20 hours of live music on two stages including Latin, Brazilian music, mariachi banks, rope tricks, samba percussion, salsa dancing and much more!
FROM NOON-7PM there will be kids’ games, salsa tasting contest with celebrity judges, live music, and tamales prepared by Huerto de la Familia’s partner families.
FROM 7PM-MIDNIGHT there will be free salsa lessons, local food and drink, salsa performances by Azucar and Salseros Dance Company, and salsa music by DJ Vito Garcia.
