$2000 Award with LatinX Studies Experiential Learning Fellowship



This LatinX Studies Experiential Learning Fellowship is to support the processing of documentation of the Rama Project recovered in 2022 in a garage in Eugene, and complete the documentation and archiving of the early years of the project (1986-1987). The student would work in collaboration with Dr. Grinevald.

Fellow would assist in cataloguing the materials and preparing them for archiving following archival best practices. No prior experience in linguistics nor fluency in Spanish is necessary. We do need for the fellow to be willing to explore the technology needed to access obsolete recording and digital storage formats.

Hours required: 125 hours over the spring 2023 quarter, with schedule designed around the fellow’s availability

Fellowship award: $2000

Location: materials based in an office of the Language Revitalization Laboratory in Straub Hall 261.
