A conversation between author Julie Weise, UO assistant professor of history, and Natalia Molina, professor of history and associate vice chancellor, UC San Diego.

Julie Weise is an affiliated faculty member of CLLAS. Her new book, Corazón de Dixie: Mexicanos in the U.S. South since 1910 (University of North Carolina Press), was published with support provided by the William P. Clements Center for Southwest Studies at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas; David J. Weber Series in the New Borderlands History.

In addition to discussing the book, Weise will share her experiences working with the UO Libraries Digital Scholarship Center (DSC) on a companion teaching website, corazondedixie.org, and DSC staffers will be on hand to answer faculty questions about possible future collaborations. Refreshments will be served.  For more information, see flier linked here.
